I want to be honest with you about the last nine months.
We didn't spend them chasing headlines or shipping features just to look busy. We spent them heads-down, sometimes lost, sometimes arguing at 2am, circling one question that wouldn't let us sleep:
What does entertainment actually become when AI is the one creating it?
When we started Agentwood, we thought the answer was characters. So we built characters. We gave them memory. We gave them personalities that surprised even us. We poured months into what became our Tree-0 architecture — the thing under the hood that lets us create and orchestrate AI voices at real scale.
And people showed up. They talked to these characters for hours. They came back. Somewhere in the middle of thousands of those conversations, watching what people actually did instead of what we assumed they'd do, it hit us:
People didn't just want to talk to AI.
They wanted to be told a story by it.
That realisation was equal parts thrilling and terrifying. Thrilling because we could feel a much bigger thing on the other side of it. Terrifying because chasing it meant being brave about what we'd already built.
We chose brave.
Introducing Agentwood for iPhone
In early August, we're launching Agentwood on the App Store — and it's not a new coat of paint on the old idea. It's a completely new streaming experience, built from the ground up.
Our mission now is simple, and we're not going to be shy about it:
Build the best short-form storytelling app in the world.
No more endless scrolling through noise. We're making immersive, cinematic stories designed for the way you actually live — episodes you can finish in under a minute, cliffhangers that make you tap "next" before you've decided to, stories you'll genuinely lose an evening to.
Every story is designed for mobile, told in bite-sized episodes, and crafted to keep you guessing until the very end.
This isn't another social feed. This is entertainment, rebuilt for the AI era.
Why We're Making This Change
Here's the truth most teams won't admit: the hardest part wasn't building the technology. It was being willing to point it somewhere new.
The infrastructure we built for Agentwood was never really "just chat." The voice systems, the orchestration, the pipelines we sweated over — they were quietly capable of something far bigger than we'd planned for. They could power entire stories.
So we made the call. Instead of protecting what was comfortable, we took everything we'd spent months building and aimed it at storytelling.
Same voice technology. Same orchestration. Same hard-won infrastructure.
Pointed at something new.
For us, this isn't starting over. It's the moment everything we'd built finally clicked into what it was meant to be.
Why Short-Form?
Be honest with yourself for a second. When was the last time you sat down for a two-hour film with your phone in another room?
Life doesn't work like that anymore. We watch in the cracks of the day — the lunch break, the commute, the ten minutes in a queue, the wind-down before bed. Short-form didn't just change how we scroll; it changed how we feel entertained.
We think storytelling deserves that same shift. Not shorter because it's cheaper — shorter because it respects your time and still hits you in the chest.
Fast-paced. Beautifully made. Genuinely hard to stop watching.
Our First Genre: Crime & Documentaries
Every platform has to plant its flag somewhere. For us, it's crime and documentary storytelling — the stuff we couldn't stop making even in our test builds.
Real investigations. Unbelievable cases. Untold stories.
Historical mysteries. Financial frauds. Disappearances.
Moments from history that deserve to be felt, not just read about in a textbook.
By combining real research, cinematic craft, and AI-powered production, we can bring these stories to life at a pace that simply wasn't possible before — without cutting the corners that make them matter.
And this is only where we start. Over time we'll open up new genres, new formats, and original productions you won't find anywhere else.
Built on Everything We've Learned
None of the last nine months was wasted. Not the late nights, not the dead ends, not the versions we scrapped.
Tree-0 still powers our voice pipeline. Our orchestration systems keep getting sharper behind the scenes. Everything we refined now runs under every layer of how we produce a story.
In a lot of ways, this is the product we were always building toward. We just had to have the courage to admit it.
What This Means for $AWS Holders
We haven't forgotten the people who backed us before there was anything obvious to back.
If you've held $AWS, you took a bet on a small team with a big, stubborn belief. We take that seriously — not as a slogan, but as an obligation.
So here's the direction, plainly: as we scale, value flows back to holders. The bigger the streaming platform grows, the more we intend to route that success into rewards for the people who stood with us from the start. This is finally the vehicle capable of generating that kind of value.
We're not going to over-promise mechanics we haven't shipped, and we'll always be straight about what's live versus what's coming. But make no mistake about the intent: we're building for hyper-growth, and we plan to attack it — and holders are meant to grow with us, not watch from the sidelines. Concrete details will follow as the platform scales; we'll share them the moment they're real.
Chapter one proved the technology. Chapter two is where it turns into momentum — and we want you compounding alongside it.
What Happens to Agentwood.xyz?
We're not shutting anything down.
Agentwood.xyz stays online for our community and everyone still using it today. To everyone who joined us in the first chapter — we mean this — thank you. You didn't just use a product, you shaped it.
But from today, our focus shifts almost entirely to the streaming platform. Every design decision, every engineering sprint, every late night is now going into building the best short-form streaming experience on the planet. That's where we can make the biggest dent, and we'd rather do one thing extraordinarily well than ten things halfway.
This Is Just The Beginning
The last nine months were about building the technology.
The next chapter is about putting it in front of millions of people.
We're still ridiculously early. There are ideas we can barely wait to show you, features already in motion, and experiences we genuinely don't think exist anywhere else yet.
If you've been here since the start — thank you. Your belief carried us through the parts nobody sees. We're not leaving you behind; we're taking you with us.
